We are an in-home newly very small hobby Breeder of F2 Cockapoos based in Cheshire. F1 Cockapoos are a direct cross between fully KC registered Pedigree Cocker Spaniels and a Miniature Poodle, an F1b is when an F1 Cockapoo is crossed back to a Poodle or Cocker Spaniel, and an F2 is when a Cockapoo is crossed with another Cockapoo.

We have used a stud dog that is DNA tested for numerous inherited conditions including PRA and FN (in easier terms awful diseases of the eye and kidneys) Von Willebrand disease, Degenerative Myelopathy, Neonatal encephalopathy, Acral Mutilation Syndrome, and he is not affected (clear). This means none of his puppies can ever be affected by any of these terrible conditions.
Here at Meadows, we take the health & happiness of our dogs and puppies beyond seriously. We are in-home breeders and do not believe in dogs living in outside kennels. This means we raise our pups inside our home, in a family environment with lots of socialisation, this gets the puppies used to lots of normal everyday household activities and sounds. Along with a few other breeders, we follow the 'Puppy Socialisation plan' which has been developed to try and prevent behavioural problems and includes ENS training. Our dogs are born in our kitchen/dining room and live inside our home permanently as family pets like we believe every dog should. Our pups are reared inside the home throughout their first 8 weeks of life lives with us and once old enough to go outside, they spend the nice weather days playing in the garden. As well as health being taken extremely seriously here so is socialisation! Our puppies will be used to different sights and sounds and hopefully everything going to plan (weather impending) are partially toilet trained by the time they go home.

All of our puppies are wormed every 2 weeks from birth with 'panacur liquid' as the vets recommend, they are protected against fleas, and weaned on to of what we believe us the very best, starting with Nutriment RAW and then moving on to 'Orijen Puppy' before they go to their new homes (a bag of this is sent with them alongside a puppy pack and memory book which you'll be able to see more about on here).

Before leaving to their new homes our puppies will have had a full health check and examination each from the local vet, had their first vaccinations and been microchipped. Puppy packs include their vet issued vaccination card, a full contract, information pack, copies of Mum & Dads health checks, a bag of food to settle them in like has been mentioned above, and a teddy that smells of mum and siblings to comfort them on their big adventure to their new home. These puppies are our everything and we truly believe that and more has gone into them.

We are based in Cheshire - around 20 minutes from Stoke-on-Trent and an hour from the centre of Manchester.
