Our F2 Cockapoos born 8th April 2023!

Very proud to introduce our fabulous 5 born from the early hours of Saturday morning. 3 boys & 2 girls! Mum and puppies are all doing fantastically with puppies putting on lots of weight already. They are beautiful and Poppy is proving to be the most amazing mother, we are so so proud of her.

Poppy  is a litter sister to Chester who you will be able to meet when visiting. I'm probably a bit biased but Poppy is gorgeous, she has such a wonderful nature and is so attentive with a super personality; playful, gentle, and funny. She is an F1 cockapoo and stands at 15 inches to the shoulder. She was bred from show lines, which means her mum is a 'Show Type' cocker spaniel. Her mum is a sable cocker spaniel, and her dad is a red miniature poodle. Being from show lines results in puppies being calmer and more laid back compared to those bred from 'Working Type' cocker spaniels. As well as mainly being calmer, looks-wise the show side makes them very lovely with longer coats and ears, and more of a domed head shape. Poppy is DNA tested for multiple hereditary diseases and is clear from them all. When we chose Poppy as a puppy she had a little white heart marking on her head; I have made a page with photos attached so you can see her growing up throughout the years.

Dad is utterly gorgeous too with copies of a 6-generation family tree from excellent Sable Show Cocker and Red Miniature Poodle lines. He is highly sought for and has undergone extensive DNA health testing and has tested negative for hereditary diseases known to both cockers and poodles. He an F1 sable cockapoo and is as healthy as a dog can be which we found obviously very important while looking for a stud. We spent countless hours researching stud dogs and their suitability for Poppy in order to find the perfect one and these two are the perfect match (not to mention they are both sable colouring!). Both have super healthy breeding lines, lovely coat types, and, for us one of the most important things, good temperaments.

I will update the photos as the weeks go by as well as showing what they have been getting to that week and how they are developing. Our Facebook page will also have many of updates on in the next few weeks!
